TRAINING INITIATIVE
CIB Marine invests in continuing education and development of its employees. We recognize the positive impact of training not only as a benefit to the company as a whole, but to individual employees as well. The company's Human Resources Department is dedicated to providing information on internal and external training programs and serving as the primary contact for any education and develpment inquiry.
PAID TIME OFF
Vacation - Eligible CIB Marine employees accrue vacation
hours upon hire. Accrual rates are determined by employment
status,
years of service, and officer level.
Sick Time – Full-time
employees are eligible to earn 4 hours per month (6 days per year). Employees
who are part-time with benefits
are eligible for 3 days per year.
Holidays - CIB Marine offers ten
paid holidays for eligible employees.
Personal Time - Full-time,
non-exempt CIB Marine employees earn
one-half hour
of personal
leave each pay period.
PROFESSIONAL IMAGE PROGRAM (PIP)
CIB Marine recognizes the expenses involved with purchasing
professional work attire. This revolving program was established
to assist
employees in purchasing work attire with interest-free
repayment through payroll deduction.
PRE-PAID LEGAL SERVICES
This pre-paid legal services program provides participants access to legal advice
and assistance though a network of reputable law firms, should unforeseen legal
problems arise.
EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Employees have free access to a nationwide professional
service that offers life-care counseling, education, and
referral services 24 hours a day.
The EAP provides confidential assistance to employees and family members who
may be faced with variety of life challenges and concerns.
